Nusa Penida Island offers a wide spectrum of self-realization even besides the undersea world. You will find here amazing nooks of nature, indigenous villages, Hindu churches, and breathtaking views of the open Indian-Pacific Ocean. The best means of transport is a motorcycle. As there are no signs on the roads, experienced guides will take care of you and the adventures.
Crystal Bay and the neighbouring beach – a very beautiful place, an amazing beach. It is a marvellous place both for diving and snorkelling. On Crystal, you will attract the attention of local children who will not let you be. However, on the neighbouring beach you will feel like a Robinson.
Gamat Bay – a beach in a glamorous valley, paradisiacal peace and quiet.
A sea crater – an amazing photogenic place where you can see with your very eyes how the sea models and creates art. Gorgeous water geysers, interesting indigenous fishing techniques.
Manta Point – breathtaking views from reefs 250 metres high under which mantas, dolphins, stingrays and sea turtles often eat. A fantastic photogenic place.
Tembelin – an undemanding track to a deep canyon. At its end, you will find a paradisiacal place with a freshwater pond and an amazing photogenic rocky coast. It is a sacred place.
The Last Beach – an undemanding track to a forgotten valley with wonderful views, a rock sea arch and a bay with a white sand.
Bat Cave – an interesting place with a sacred Hindu cave where thousands of bats dwell.
The PED Temple – the most sacred temple of Nusa Penida, devoted to an evil demon Gero I Macalling whom the whole Bali is afraid of.
